About Leora Hoffman: Leora Kusher Hoffman was born in Israel and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Leora attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology. She then attended Hofstra University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor Degree. After a brief period of employment in London, England, Leora moved to the Washington, D.C. area where she began her legal career. After practicing law for several years, Leora founded Leora Hoffman Associates, a personal introduction / relationship service for single professionals. She began her business as a response to the tremendous need in the community for an effective, dignified and professional way for singles to meet. Leora speaks and conducts workshops throughout the Washington area on various aspects of personal relationships. She has appeared on cable television and has been interviewed extensively in various publications as well as on public radio. She currently writes a monthly "Dear Leora" column in the Washington Jewish Week. Leora resides in Bethesda, Maryland with her two children, Elana and Adam.
