Leora’s Membership Guidelines:
At Leora Hoffman Associates, our goal is to serve your needs as effectively as possible. In order to achieve this, we require the commitment and cooperation of all our members. We therefore ask that you review the following rules of our membership in order to get you off to a smooth start:
- Each party to an introduction has the joint responsibility for contacting the other within a reasonable period (usually no later than three to five days after receipt of the information about the particular introduction).
- We ask each party to an introduction to think in terms of meeting the other person at least twice. Our experience has shown that this approach makes the first meeting less stressful, and often yields unexpected results.
- We recommend that the parties arrange to meet for the first few times in a public place, so that neither person feels uncomfortable or obligated to have the other to their home before they have the chance to get to know each other.
- We recommend that each party to an introduction agree to pay for one of the two dates, or that each date be split equally. This makes the first few meetings less awkward, and does away with the discomfort that often comes with treating and being treated for the first time.
- Each party to an introduction has the responsibility of communicating with Leora after each of the first two meetings. This allows you to share your experiences with Leora, to discuss what went "right" or "wrong" and whether it makes sense to spend more time with the person you met.
- Members are encouraged to communicate openly and regularly with Leora, in order for her to best understand how to meet your personal goals. Remember, members whose expectations are realistic and whose minds are open to new possibilities, are most likely to be successful!
